About Us

Simply Fresh Trackside is a catering company that travels to vintage race car events on the east coast. The owner, Alison Olthoff, creates a new menu each day featuring fresh salads, grilled and/or smoked meats and homemade desserts. The focus is on fresh flavors, using only high-quality ingredients. We can cater for your team, you can pick up a la carte items from our kitchen in the paddock, and we have an appetizer menu available for paddock delivery. See our race schedule (here).

Our Story:

It started small, preparing breakfast and lunch for about 20 drivers and mechanics. Everything was made fresh each day, from the Summer Vegetable Salad, Ranch, Blue Cheese Dressings, Chocolate Mocha Trifle to the Homemade Croutons. After the races Bacon Wrapped Cherries where served, which one of the drivers quickly nicknamed 'Crack' because they were so addictive.

Having more than 20 years' experience in the restaurant industry, I decided to open a catering business, and Simply Fresh was born. The concept is unique, it redefines track fare, fresh, scratch-made food delivered to teams in the paddock.

Our team is the first to arrive at the track, using the freshest, high-quality ingredients to prepare the menu for the day. You no longer have to tolerate the bland food that other catering companies deliver or the sandwiches/fast food that you have had in the past. Racing

Food is my passion, however, when I am not at the track, our family business is Olthoff Racing, which is centered around building and racing vintage cars. We build GT-40’s, Cobras, Daytona Coupes and Ford 1967 GT-500 Mustangs. In 2012 we began our Arrive and Drive program. We travel to many racetracks on the east coast.
